Fir Top Trail Private Horseback Ride at Point Reyes, CA -- This horseback ride carries you up about 1300 feet, affording beautiful views of the Olema Valley area, the famous San Andreas Fault Line area, and even a glimpse of the ocean. This is a private ride.

At the top of the ridge you pass through towering Douglas Fir trees. The trail then descends to the cool serenity of the creek at the base of the ridge, through the deep shade of birch and alder.

Summary:

You must drive to our location in Olema, California; this tour does not offer hotel pick-up. HORSES MUST BE MATCHED TO SIZE OF EACH RIDER, SO PLEASE ENTER EACH RIDER'S APPROXIMATE HEIGHT AND WEIGHT ON THE ORDER FORM. Maximum rider weight is 250 lbs. Must be at least 8 years old to ride. Reservations accepted for a minimum of 2 people. Please reserve online, or call us toll-free at 800-409-2191. There is a $3.95 processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order.
There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges.

Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

Private Rides

Usually groups are established from the general public for our guided trail rides. Here you can arrange a private, guided ride for your party only. Private Rides are ideal for those who desire a more personal setting such as those celebrating birthdays, anniversaries or honeymoons. Private Rides offer a unique gift giving opportunity. They are also preferred by the more experienced riders. All Private Rides require a minimum of 2 people.

Open daily, except Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

The maximum weight limit is 250 pounds.
